Scheduling Policy

Once you have a confirmed job, you will receive a text and/or email with the student’s name, address, and phone number. Please keep the student’s information confidential, but save it in your phone.

Scheduling

  • Tutors 101 will schedule the first lesson for you. It will appear on our shared TutorCruncher calendar (which you can sync with your google or ical calendar).
  • At the end of your lesson, please ask the student or parent if he/she would like to schedule another session.
    • If you do not receive any answer or the parents are not available to discuss the next lesson, let us know that a second session was not scheduled yet.
    • We will follow up with the parent.

Schedule Changes  

 

  • Please make all necessary changes to the calendar (this includes cancelling, editing the length of time, and changing the date or time of a session) on TutorCruncher.

 

    • Please alert us via text of any cancelled lessons.
    • If you or a parent needs to cancel a lesson, please ask if he/she would like to reschedule and offer alternative days and times for that same week, if possible.

 

  • You are welcome to directly reach out to the parent via call, text, or email. Examples include: you are running late for a session, any scheduling issues, offer additional academic support or examples.

 

TutorCruncher Responsibilities

 

  • Mark your lesson “complete” as soon as it is over. Make sure the time on the calendar is accurate.

 

  • Keep your personal profile up-to-date.
  • If your address or phone number changes, you must tell us so we can update your information for your paychecks.
