Jillian Y. is majoring in psychology and minoring in both fine arts and Hebrew at Hofstra U. She will practice as an art therapist upon graduation next year. Jillian is a wonderful language arts tutor, study skills, and writing tutor for our elementary and middle school students. Jillian is an energetic and experienced tutor who has also worked in a day care, at medical center’s kids club, and as a elementary art club volunteer. She also volunteers with Reach Out and Read.
Fun Fact: Jillian loves crafting, perusing Pinterest, and being creative.
Robert (Bobby) H. is a medical student and very active tutor. Bobby graduated summa cum laude from the honors college at Stony Brook University, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Bobby has continued his education at Stony Brook for medical school. Bobby has tutored many students in math, science, and standardized tests. Bobby has volunteered with the Educational Opportunity Program, providing free tutoring for low income and first-generation students. He would like to pursue a career in medical education, combining his love for teaching with his enjoyment of the sciences.
Fun Fact: Bobby was a camp counselor for five years at the same camp he attended as a child.
