Q: Who are the founders of Tutors 101?
A: Stacey is a 12-year veteran high school English teacher in one of the top rated high schools in New Jersey. She has taught all grades, levels, and types of learners ranging from special education students to honors students. Stacey is dual certified in Elementary and Secondary Education. She also has one Master’s Degree in English and a second Master’s Degree in School Counseling. She teamed up with longtime friend, Margo to bring excellent tutors into the homes of students who need them the most.
Margo is a former tutor who faced challenges when looking for teachers for her daughter. Margo wanted to simplify the process of finding the right tutor for other parents, since she has seen first-hand how difficult it can be to find the right tutor for the right student at the right price. Margo told her friend Stacey that there had to be a better way, so they created Tutors 101 to bring affordable, individualized instruction into the homes of all students.
